Style one line, not the whole bio
A fully styled bio is hard to read and invisible to search. A common pattern that works: style the first line (your name or tagline) and keep the details plain.
To mix styles, copy one style, paste it in the app, then come back and copy a different style for the next line.

Accessibility: these letters are maths and symbol characters, not a font. Screen readers may spell them out letter by letter or skip them, and search inside apps may not match them. Keep important words — your name, a business name, a call to action — in plain text too.
Limits: Instagram bios allow 150 characters and TikTok bios 80 (at the time of writing). Styled letters still count as characters.

Will my line breaks paste correctly?
Yes — they’re part of the copied text. Some apps trim blank lines at the start or end.
Can I use different styles on different lines?
Yes. Copy and paste one line at a time, choosing a style for each.
Why is my bio over the limit after styling?
Some apps count styled letters as two characters. Shorten it or style fewer lines.
