Symbols in game names
Game platforms are strict. Many account names allow only letters, numbers and underscores; some allow symbols only in a separate display or in-game name. If a symbol is rejected, use a handle-safe style from the last group — they only use characters every platform accepts.
Several gamer marks are real characters from other writing systems: 亗 and 么 are Chinese characters, ☬ is the Khanda (a Sikh religious symbol), and ༒ is Tibetan. Use them knowing they carry meaning for some people.

Questions, answered
Why can’t I use symbols in my username?
Many platforms restrict account names to letters, numbers, underscores and sometimes periods to prevent impersonation and keep names searchable.
What does 亗 mean?
It’s a rare Chinese character. In gaming names it’s used purely for its crown-like shape.
Is this the same as the old Username Symbols page?
Yes — same address, now focused on gaming names and handle-safe styles. Everyday name decoration is on Name Symbols.
