What โOld Englishโ text really is
The style people call โOld Englishโ is blackletter (also called Gothic or Fraktur) โ the dense, angular lettering of medieval manuscripts and early printing. It isnโt the Old English language, which used different words and letters like รพ (thorn).
The regular style (๐๐ฏ๐๐จ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฏ) has a few capitals from an older Unicode block (โญ โ โ โ โจ). Bold (๐ฑ๐๐๐๐๐๐) has a complete, consistent alphabet, so it often looks more even.

Is this the same as the Old English language?
No. Itโs a lettering style. The Old English language (spoken roughly 450โ1150 AD) is a different topic.
Why do some capitals look different?
C, H, I, R and Z in regular blackletter come from an older Unicode block. Bold blackletter doesnโt have this issue.
Can I use it in my Instagram name?
In the Name field, yes. Keep your real name in plain text somewhere so people can find you.
